The widow in the West End who died from the illness on 2nd September had a niece who lived in Islington (outside the Broad Street area). She died of the illness two days after her aunt.

A hospital nurse reported taking in a woman from Heddon Street (outside of the Broad Street area). She had been looking after some of the sick people in Marshall Street and contracted the illness. The hospital believe she caught it from those who were ill.
